Up to Six Months

Up to six months there's no question,.. Only mothers milk.And if the mother is working,its better to stay with your child,up to six months.Mother should eat good food,should have good,comfortable sleep,should be happy always,should drink a lot of water.Nursing mother's food should include leafy vegitables,Cereals,Milk.The paste of Satavari (2 tsp) boiled in milk (100ml) taken for enhancing breast milk production soon after delivery.Regular intake of Moringa leaves will help to increase milk production.Sample receipe of moriga is available here.http://arremedies.blogspot.com/2006/05/magic-of-moringa.html .
Intake of healthy food is necessary for mother as it reflects the kid.Kid is getting milk from the food that mother eats.You should also ensure that you are drinking lot of water.Atleast 10-12 glasses of water is a must,and can drink buttermilk,fruit juices,milk apart from this.I think you can avoid tea/Coffee during lactation period.
